This policy explains how The Uni Brief handles information when you visit the site or contact the newsroom.
Information we receive
Our systems may process basic technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics and advertising storage remain denied until a visitor makes a consent choice through the site control. Essential storage may still be used for security, language preferences and core site operation. You can change your consent choice through the available privacy control.
How information is used
We use information to deliver and secure the site, understand aggregate performance when consent permits, respond to messages, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell contact-form messages or use them to make automated high-impact decisions.
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics or email service providers acting on our behalf, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, security, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
Your choices
You may ask about personal information submitted through the contact form, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or withdraw optional analytics consent. Use the contact page for privacy requests and identify the relevant interaction without sending additional sensitive data.
Updates
We may update this policy as the site and its services change. The version published on this page is the current policy.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send a global education briefing no more than once every two days. Subscription is voluntary and uses double opt-in: an address joins the active list only after the confirmation link is used.
UseINBOX
UseINBOX acts as our email-delivery service provider and processor. It may process your email address, delivery status, bounces and complaints and, when campaign tracking is enabled, message opens and link clicks. We use these signals for delivery, security and aggregate performance, not for automated high-impact decisions.
Retention and your choices
Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days. Active subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. A minimal suppression and consent record may be retained for up to five years to honour opt-outs and demonstrate compliance, unless law requires longer. Newsletter data is not sold.
