Corrections Policy

The Uni Brief corrects material errors promptly and transparently. Accuracy matters more than preserving an earlier version of a story.

What we correct

Corrections may address an incorrect fact, quotation, date, figure, attribution, translation, link, caption or image. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes that do not alter meaning may be fixed without a formal note.

How to report an error

Use our contact form and include the article URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, and a reliable source supporting the correction. We review correction requests against the underlying evidence and may contact the sender for clarification.

What happens after review

If a material error is confirmed, we update the article and add a clear correction or update note explaining what changed. If the problem affects multiple language editions, we correct the linked versions as well. If a story is fundamentally unreliable and cannot be repaired, it may be withdrawn while retaining an explanatory notice at the original URL where appropriate.

Disagreements

A request is not automatically a correction because a person or organization dislikes accurate coverage. We distinguish factual errors from disputes about interpretation. When evidence remains contested, the article should describe that uncertainty fairly rather than present an unsupported conclusion.
