Anadolu University’s Graduate School has announced that it will take students through an Acceptance Letter for vacant places left after the 2026-2027 academic year fall placement and final registration process. The call covers thesis-based master’s, doctoral and proficiency in art programs, and admitted candidates will begin their studies in the spring term of 2026-2027.
Key facts
- Applications are limited to the vacant places announced by the university.
- The application window runs from 5 October 2026 to 8 January 2027.
- Final registration is scheduled for 8-12 February 2027.
- Graduate-level classes for the spring term start on 15 February 2027.
- Applicants may apply to no more than two programs in the same period.
What does this announcement mean for students?
For prospective graduate students, this is a second intake route for programs with unused capacity. Applicants must meet the minimum conditions valid for the 2026-2027 fall term for the program they want to enter, and applications are handled together with an academic staff member who meets the advising conditions for that program.
The practical steps are straightforward:
- The applicant meets a suitable academic staff member and completes the Acceptance Letter Form (LEE-76).
- The form and supporting documents are sent by the candidate adviser to the relevant department or division chair.
- The application is reviewed according to eligibility, documents, advising load and vacant quota status.
- Results are announced on 22 January 2027, and objections are accepted from 25 to 29 January 2027.
Having an Acceptance Letter issued does not by itself guarantee final registration. Final admission is confirmed by the Graduate School Board, and students who complete registration will join classes starting on 15 February 2027.
What documents are required?
The application file includes a letter of intent, a copy of ID, a CV, a diploma or graduation certificate, a transcript, and any additional documents requested by the program. For master’s applications, a foreign language score may be requested if the relevant department chair asks for it; for proficiency in art applications, a portfolio is required. An ALES or equivalent exam result is not mandatory for division of art applications or for international applicants.
For international student candidates, the relevant provisions of the applicable regulations apply. Applications are assessed by whether candidates meet the conditions, whether the documents are appropriate, the advising load, and the vacant quota status of the program.
How will applications be ranked and decisions announced?
If there are more applications than places in a program, candidates will be ranked by score. If scores are tied, the candidate with the higher grade point average will have priority; if the tie remains, the younger candidate will be given priority. International student candidates will be ranked among themselves.
Accepted candidates, and reserve candidates if any, will be announced on the institute’s website together with their ranking. Objections to the results may be submitted in writing to the Graduate School Directorate within five business days after publication, and they are limited to material error, calculation error, missing documents or clear factual mistakes identified during the process.
Which dates matter most in the application timeline?
Applications open on 5 October 2026 and continue until 8 January 2027. During the same period, the department or division chairs review applications and forward suitable ones to the Graduate School. Review by the Graduate School and the Graduate School Board takes place between 11 and 21 January 2027, and results are announced on 22 January 2027.
Final registration is completed from 8 to 12 February 2027. Registration renewal and registration approval also take place on those dates, graduate courses begin on 15 February 2027, and the add-drop week runs from 15 to 19 February 2027.
